Irina Shishkova (Natalia Tereshkova)

Shishkova is a really good student and has a sweet, responsible personality. Is worth mentioning that she's the only one (or at least, one of the few) students that have supportive and loving parents. She used to attend a russian folklore dance academy in which she excelled, but she dropped it when she started dating Shutov due to him being jealous of her dance teacher. Like I said before, she doesn't get along with Budilova and kind of hangs around with Vera, but honestly she starts to isolate herself after dating Shutov and it's really sad, because Shutov does the same thing to her that he did to Budilova, and it's even worse, becuase his friends try to take advantage of her and Shishkova is left picking up the pieces of her life alone and it's heartbreaking seeing her trying to rejoin the dance group, but she is not as good and before. Her story is very tragic if you ask me.

Darya Kharitonova (Larisa Nabatova)

Dasha is Budilova's bestfriend. At the beginning she is seen as Budilova's shadow and as the 'not-so-pretty friend'. I think is implied that she has a crush on Korolev, but Korolev does not reciprocate, besides, after the incident at Budilova's birthday party (remember she opened the present with firecrackers that leave her with burns on her face), he mocks her to the point of tears and well, he is an asshole about it. Natalya Nikolaevna helps her getting through this and actually suggest her parents to take her on a short vacation. Her parents take that in consideration and Dasha comes back with a new look that makes her stand out. This does not please Budilova since, for a moment, Dasha became the center of attention. Later on, Dasha and Natalya Nikolaevna become really good friends.

Dmitri Goryaev (Serguei Ovchinnikov)

In my opinion (and I think a lot of the people that watched the series will agree with me), Goryaev is by far one of the worst characters. Usually, all of the characters have done good stuff and bad stuff, but that's not the case with Dima. He's such a nasty character (especially in the episodes that take place in the school trip to Súzdal) and he's Shishkova's neighbour and it's really weird how Irina's parents think he's such a gentleman. He's friends with Shutov, at least at the beginning and aspires to join the popular group at class. It's impressive how, towards the end he starts dating Lana Vinogradova and his personality kind of changes, but still he's such an awful person.

Sonya Kashtanskaya (Nadezhda Ivanova)

Sonya is one of the sweetest characters of the series. She's really into poetry and literature and even tho she doesn't belong in any group, she's always kind. Classmates laugh at her because she picks her nose due to an alergy problem and they also bully her for her appereance and clothes. I don't know why, but Isaev is specially rude to her and they even fight in the middle of a class. She dates Kostya for a brief time, at the beginning everything was okay, but when Isaev steals her intimate diary and reads it out loud in front of, it's revealed that she no longer thinks work between her and Kostya. They break up, with Kostya gets really violent about it and even hits her. Then, Timur and Sonya start dating and even tho, the relationship works, Timur thinks Sonya actually deserved being hit by Kostya.

Vladimir Falikov (Anton Chechevichkyn)

Vovets Falikov stands out because he has a very defined personal style that has earned him cruel mockery from his classmates. Everyone laughs at him, even Epifanov and since he has long hair and wears colourful clothes, Korolev usually tease him that he's gay, but Falikov's not affect by these comments. Actually I'm pretty sure that is implied that he has a crush on Natalya Nikolaevna or at least sees her as some kind of motherly figure, because he gets kind of jealous that Dasha becomes Natalya's closest student. He likes fashion, music (he aspires to be a musician and even tho is not actually showed in the series, he plays the drums in a band) and movies like Elephant by Gus Van Sant. We don't know much about his family background and he listens to 'audio drugs', actually there's like a minor plot line where he sells drugs at school, but it's not very relevant. Although he orbits the popular group, he has no close friends at school. At the school trip, he gets brutally beaten in a disco and Isaev helps him to go back at the hotel. Vovets is my favourite character, so I don't think I'm being objective here, I mean he could be such an asshole sometimes, he has a very cruel sense of humor, but is still my favourite.
